I purchased the 2024 Ranger Maestro in April of this year, after having returned three other brands of chairs for various reasons. None of them provided the performance I needed until I found the Ranger Maestro. This chair has truly been a game-changer. Not only does it excel in every task, but it also performs incredibly well on all types of terrain. I use it to cruise around my neighborhood and visit parks, bike paths, and jogging trails. The freedom it has given me to get back outdoors and enjoy Mother Nature once again has been priceless.
As someone dealing with neuropathy in my feet, having a dependable and strong chair is crucial, and the Ranger Maestro has exceeded all my expectations in that regard. So much so, that I bought another one for my wife, who suffers from a bad knee. The comfort, durability, and versatility of these chairs are truly outstanding.
What stands out the most, however, is the exceptional customer service I’ve received from Porto Mobility. In particular, a gentleman named Al has been nothing short of amazing. Al (the rock of Porto Mobility) has consistently provided me with the care, attention, and quick responses I rarely experienced with other chair companies. His dedication to ensuring my needs are met has made all the difference.
At 71 years old, my wife and I are able to load our 52-pound chairs (without the batteries, which remove easily) into our car with ease, thanks to their thoughtful design. This has allowed us the freedom and independence to enjoy everything our chairs offer.
A huge thank you to Al and Porto Mobility for providing a level of service and quality that is rare to find these days. If you’re in need of a reliable, top-quality wheelchair, I highly recommend reaching out to Al – you won’t be disappointed.
Sincerely,
Brad
"This place put the Beast to the Ultimate test!
It was very steep!
Climbing up was no problem; it tipped back on the Wheelie bars a few times. The Beast kept it under control.
The freedoms I have now to go places and spend time with my Grandchildren are amazing!
I got a cart to pull so I can take my youngest Grandson for a ride.
He loves it!"

We greatly appreciate John from Houston, TX for taking the time to share his personal experience with the Quattro XL Power Wheelchair. As a taller individual, John highlights the exceptional sturdiness, durability, and robustness of the chair, emphasizing how well it meets his needs.
In his review, John also shares his positive experience using the Quattro XL on a cruise, noting how smoothly it handled navigating ramps and how impressive the battery range was. His feedback on the smooth ride, strong frame, and overall quality of the chair demonstrates how the Quattro XL stands out as a reliable and comfortable solution for users seeking both support and performance.
Thank you, John, for showing how the Quattro XL has helped enhance your mobility, independence, and travel experiences. We’re proud to know that our wheelchair is making such a positive difference in your life!
I purchased a Ranger Space Pro about two years ago and it has opened up a whole new world for us. As a partially paralyzed brain Cancer survivor, my inability to safely ambulate means that I am limited to only a few activities. Now, with this chair I am able to explore things I thought were unattainable. Inside and out. This electric chair folds up like a lawn chair so my wife can get it in and out of the trunk with no need for a ramp. There are no other chairs out there that are this good for someone like me that wants a do-all, lightweight chair to enjoy my life with my family. I think that one of the biggest advantages with this chair is that it has a zero-turn radius. This means that it can turn 360 degrees in a very tight spot, like in an elevator. This tight turning radius also means I can go anywhere in the house with ease.
Other four wheeled scooters that turn only by moving the two front wheels are worthless in a home with rooms that have standard 30-inch doorways. Those scooters require MANY corrective turns (like a 3-point turn in a car for instance) damaging the wood work and furniture around the house. The chair weighs less than 50 lbs. making it airline approved. Outside my chair can go over most surfaces with ease, except deep beach sand or thick grass The chair is light weight and portable. When we travel, I can ‘drive’ up to the door of the airplane before I am helped to my seat. When we arrive at our destination, the chair is brought up to the door of the plane allowing me and my wife a stress free travel experience. This means we no longer need ‘Wheelchair assist’ that is offered at the airport. The chair also flies free of charge. I HIGHLY recommend this chair for someone that still wants to live an active life, both inside and outside.

I just wanted to drop you guys a note to say thank you so much for designing and selling the Ranger Discovery XXL. I bought my chair last October and I’ve the best experience with it! This chair is hella rugged. I take it on city streets, public transportation, cobble stone streets, over trolly rail lines, up steep hills and down steep hills, bike trails at the lake, to the top of the Space Needle and just about every festival and shopping experience imaginable! I am over the weight limit for this chair at 460 lbs and did have to add a small wheel to the foot rest which helps tremendously with maneuverability, crossing cracks and bumps, and supports the weight of my large legs. I also added non skid rubber shelf liner to my seat to keep me firmly in the chair. This week’s adventure was to hop on a plane and fly to Seattle to see my Daughter. I attached a picture of me climbing a long steep hill about to board the monorail . Im about 5 miles in at this point and only lost 2 bars. This ole girl hauled me up hill and down hill one after the other and never balked. I had the best day today with my family able to join in. Thanks again for making this product!
I bought this chair for my mom because neither her full size wheelchair nor 3 wheel mobility scooter has been able to fit all her needs. This chair is a miracle! It has everything she needs! She loved how the chair can turn 360 degree! She can easily move around in her apartment especially in the kitchen area. Last weekend, I took her out of town for her nephew’s wedding. I was able to place the chair in my compact Mercedes c300’s trunk easily! We charged the chair night before and during the entire day she was out riding through all over the place with a single charge! Long range battery is very convenient! At the end of the day, she was still energetic. She said the chair was comfy. Considering someone almost 240lbs riding it thru the day and still feeling comfy is impressive! With this chair, she already looks forward to her Hawaii trip!
Thanks to the customer service. They called to follow up and check if everything was ok after the chair’s delivery!
I like the chair. It is easy to fold up and get into my van and even open it fits okay. It is taking a bit of doing to learn how to operate it because I have never used a joystick before but it's coming along okay. So far the battery life is great! Since I received it and charged it I haven't even had to charge it again. Your supposed to run it down all the way before charging it again and I'm only about half way. I'm a bit big for it even tho' I meet the weight requirements but my wife says that I need to lose weight anyway so that problem would be taken care of. Quite happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone. Ron Thompson
This electric wheelchair is great, it has large wheels that allow to travel across unpaved surfaces, it seems to be climb relatively steep inclines and has more speed than we will ever use. It is nice that it can be set to lower speeds for beginner operators! We are looking forward to our 94 year old father joining us on walks. With it’s long range, his wheelchair will last a lot longer than we will. The spring rains have kept us from fully testing it’s range, but after three weeks we are pleased. It arrived very well packed, and took under five minutes to put together, with good instructions as well.
The chair has proven to be very easy to load into my hatchback automobile. The chair can be folded into a compact package in seconds and at only 46 pounds it can easily be maneuvered into the vehicle. The chair is comfortable and very responsive to the Joystick. I particularly like the separate speed limit control which can be set to slow in crowded situations. Overall it is a well designed, strong, comfortable, and relatively powerful (500 Watts) wheelchair.

I got my Discovery XL and it has allowed me to be able to get outside my house whenever I want to. It is easy to navigate and the ability to easily fold up and put in the trunk of car has opened numerous things to be able to do. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 250 lbs and the chair is comfortable to use. I also am well pleased with the person I dealt with (AL) when ordering product and after receiving for taking care of a problem I had. To sum it up ABSOLUTELY would reccomend this powerchair.
My Quattro XL power wheelchair is incredibly lightweight and easy to load into the back of my SRX Cadillac, making it the perfect companion for my travels. Whether I’m heading to stores, airlines, cruises, or parks, this chair goes with me everywhere, offering unmatched convenience and independence.
The battery life is outstanding, lasting for a long time between charges, which is essential for my active lifestyle. I also love how effortlessly it turns in a circle, making it perfect for navigating tight spaces.
The quality of the Quattro XL power wheelchair is exceptional. From the seat to the joystick, travel case, batteries, and frame, every component is built to last and designed with the user in mind. It’s clear that no detail has been overlooked in creating a high-quality, reliable product.
This power wheelchair has made a world of difference in my life, and I truly believe it’s a must-have for anyone in need of mobility assistance. If you're considering purchasing one, I highly recommend treating yourself to the Quattro XL – it’s a stylish, functional, and life-changing investment.
Sincerely,

Easy to use wheelchair and very convenient for portability.
I am a diabetic with constant ulcers on the bottom of my feet. This wheelchair will allow me to go places that I have avoided for a long time. The mall, Flea markets, and amusement parks just to name a few. I am 6‘1“ and weigh about 320 pounds and I have no problems fitting in the seat or getting in and out of the wheelchair. The chair is easy to use and folds just like advertised. I love my Porto Mobility Ranger Wheelchair and would recommend it to anyone needing a portable wheelchair.
Update: 5/1/19 Traveled to Florida for business and had no issues taking my Ranger through airport security and to the gate. You need to get a claim ticket at the gate. Folded it up right before the plane entrance, they put it on board and after landing it was awaiting for me at the plane exit, ready to unfold, jump on, and ride up the gate exit. It really travels well if you can fit your clothes in a large backpack as a carryon. I just strapped my backpack onto the back of the wheelchair when traveling through the airport. Wow what a great experience.
I have used this wheelchair for almost 3 months and it continues to impress me with the distance the dual batteries provide. I have used it most of the time in my house but on many occasions I have used it outside in grass, gravel, dirt and on my sidewalks. It handles all surfaces with ease and remains stable in pretty sharp turns at a reasonable speed. This is my fourth wheelchair and it is easily my favorite for all around use and is by far the best on uneven terrain or when there is need to go up slopes that are far steeper than any public access wheelchair ramps I have encountered. I am 73 y/o, 5'7" and weigh about 150. I believe my strength is no better than average for my age and size. I have been able to load this wheelchair by myself, although not easily, into the cargo area of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I find it is much easier to manage with the seat cushion and batteries removed before folding when lifting into my vehicle. My only complaint is that the seat cushion, although being comfortable, is thick enough to affect the compactness when folded but not by a lot and is easily removed if desired during transport. I would definitely buy this wheelchair again.
I have limited mobility. I did a lot of research and finally settled on this chair.
It arrived very well packaged. Was fully assembled (except for the joystick). The controls are very sensitive, so it takes a little practice. It's also pretty fast and best of all, quiet. I was surprised at the weight of the chair. For some reason I thought it would be a bit lighter than it is. But then, I'm not exactly a light weight myself, so it can't be too light. The quality of the chair matches the price. I LOVE MY NEW FREEDOM!!!

Greetings!!!
Excited about having this forum to tout the massive change my new Ranger Quattro has engendered in my life!!!
I have been a T5 Complete paraplegic since 1991. I have no sensation or control from the upper chest down so I have been confined to manual wheelchairs since then. Nevertheless I prided myself in staying as fit as possible and wheeled miles each day as part of my fitness
routine. Unfortunately I have suffered some setbacks and over a year and a half ago my health further deteriorated when I developed a condition called Charcot's Joint. As such my independent mobility ended and I had to research the market for a powered alternative. Since I am a disabled veteran, the VA offered me a variety of their powered options but every unit was large, heavy, and unsightly. I did, however, find a number of more portable powered chairs that resembled my manual sport chair. I will attest to the fact that the Quattro is easily the most structurally sound and efficient of all the chairs I analyzed!
VA refused to supply me the chair but, for Christmas, my friends gifted me this veritable lifechanger! Now I am regaining my freedom. I am at the fitness center regularly. I go shopping with my daughter and I race against my granddaughter! Recently my family took me to Monterey and Pacific Grove - we walked and wheeled everywhere! Never once did I need a charge and I can state unequivocally - no hill bested the Quattro!!!
I LOVE this chair. Although rugged and substantial, my daughter can fold it and toss it in the back of my Mazda 2 or her Fusion Hybrid (even in its downsized trunk).
By the way - more people have stopped to ask about the Quattro!!! I should become a sales rep. Lol!!!
Thanks again for your excellent durable chair. On road, off road the Quattro takes me in comfort, dependability, and utmost style!
Sincerely,
Jim Ptak EdD
